Sotira Waterfall is a natural waterfall in the Gramsh area of Elbasan County, Albania, known for its dramatic cascade emerging from limestone cliffs at the foot of Mount Tomorr. It is considered one of Albania's most striking natural attractions and has become a popular destination for hikers, photographers, campers, and nature enthusiasts.
Highlights

The waterfall is fed by springs that emerge from fissures within the limestone rock, creating a broad cascade that can appear especially powerful during spring and after periods of rainfall. Depending on seasonal water levels, the falls descend over multiple rock faces into a clear pool surrounded by forest and meadows, producing one of the country's most recognizable waterfall landscapes.
Visiting

The attraction is located near Sotirë Village, with the listed address Q538+XFJ, Ulovë, Albania. Most visitors drive from Gramsh toward the village before continuing on foot. Standard passenger vehicles are often left in the village because the final section of road can be rough, while 4×4 vehicles can usually continue farther. The hike from the village is generally considered straightforward but covers uneven terrain, so sturdy footwear is recommended.
Natural Setting

The waterfall lies on the northeastern slopes of Mount Tomorr, surrounded by woodland, limestone formations, and open meadows that are popular for picnics and camping. The area also serves as an outdoor classroom for environmental education and highlights the biodiversity and ecological importance of the Gramsh region.
