Ballokumja e Elbasanit
Ballokumja is without a doubt the gastronomic symbol of Elbasan. Traditional dessert made with corn flour, butter, sugar and eggs. It is traditionally prepared for Summer Day (March 14). In 2026, the rite of its preparation was declared Intangible Cultural Heritage.
