Driloni is a scenic natural park and spring area on the southeastern shore of Lake Ohrid near Pogradec, Albania. Known for its crystal-clear karst springs, tree-lined canals, and peaceful atmosphere, it is one of the region's best-known nature destinations and a popular stop for both locals and visitors.
Natural setting

Driloni is fed by powerful karst springs emerging from the foothills near the village of Tushemisht. These springs form a network of small waterways before flowing into Lake Ohrid, creating a lush landscape of canals, bridges, and mature trees. The exceptionally clear water supports fish, waterfowl, and rich vegetation, making the area ecologically significant as part of the Lake Ohrid watershed.
Visitor experience

The park is best known for its tranquil atmosphere rather than strenuous outdoor activities. Visitors typically enjoy leisurely walks along shaded paths, short boat rides through the canals, birdwatching, photography, and lakeside cafés or restaurants serving local freshwater fish. Swans and ducks are a familiar sight throughout the park.
History and significance

During Albania's communist era, the surrounding area included a summer residence used by government officials, reflecting the park's long-standing reputation as a relaxing retreat. In recent years, walking paths and visitor facilities have been improved, helping establish Driloni as one of the leading attractions around Pogradec and Lake Ohrid.
Practical information

The point of interest is located about 5–6 km east of Pogradec, close to the village of Tushemisht. It is easily reached by car, bicycle, or taxi, and many visitors combine a trip to Driloni with exploring the lakeshore and nearby UNESCO-listed Lake Ohrid region. The address is listed simply as Albania.
